SHEQ Officer
Description
Well-established packaging manufacturer seeks to employ a SHEQ Officer at their premises in Germiston.
For the position you would be required to have:
Grade12 with Mathematics (Maths Literacy not sufficient)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or related field.
Professional certification or registration in SHEQ-related disciplines (e.g., SHEQ management, occupational health and safety, environmental management, Food safety management and quality management).
Knowledge of South African SHEQ legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
Proven experience in SHEQ management roles in manufacturing.
Proficiency in SHEQ management systems, tools, and software
Lab experience is advantageous.
Experience of Internal & External Audit requirements
SAMTRAC, ISO9001:2015, ISO14000:2015, ISO22000:2018
Responsibilities would include you to:
Quality testing of raw materials and components
Conforming to ISO standards
Quality related Document control/training
Managing security on site
Reporting on SHEQ issues
Reporting on all incidents on site
Emergency Evacuation
Audits
Knowledge about food safety standards
Perform monthly one on one performance feedback with team.
People management
