Introduction
We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of wastewater treatment equipment based in South Africa. Our organization is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to water management challenges. We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager and Marketing Coordinator, who will transition to the Sales and Marketing Manager role after a structured onboarding and handover period.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospective clients to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
Serve as the primary liaison for all key account activities.

2. Marketing Coordination:

Coordinate marketing campaigns across print, online, and electronic media channels.
Assist with developing product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies.

3. Sales Systems Familiarization:

Learn existing sales processes, quoting, and costing systems to ensure efficient pipeline management.
Support the development of sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.

4. Market Research and Strategy:

Conduct market research to refine marketing strategies based on changing market conditions.
Monitor competitor products and marketing activities.

Future Responsibilities After Transition to Sales and Marketing Manager: (Estimating a 18 week Transition)

1. Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve corporate objectives.

2. Team Management:

Lead the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the sales and marketing teams.
Guide marketing activity report preparation and present findings to executive management.

3. Corporate Image and Branding:

Maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all products, promotional materials, and events.

4. Market Channel Development:

Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Develop market channels and coordinate sales distribution.

5. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

Prepare periodic sales reports showing potential sales, volume, and areas for client base expansion.
Analyse sales performance to assess goal effectiveness.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Sales and Marketing qualifications or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and marketing in a technical environment
Experience in the wastewater treatment industry is highly beneficial
Proven track record in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
