Introduction
Our company is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Plumber to join our dynamic team.

They will be provided with a company van and cell phone (for work purposes only). They will also be expected to work standby every second week and will be paid overtime for work done outside of normal working hours.

Duties & Responsibilities
The plumber’s daily duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Driving to and from sites

2. Attending to:

general plumbing maintenance
geyser replacements and installations
pipe repairs and replacements (domestic and commercial)
blocked drains/gullies/sewerlines
leak repairs and investigations
fault finding and troubleshooting
plumbing renovations
sanitary ware installations (toilets, sinks, basins, baths, etc.)
3. Keeping track of and organizing van stock and materials

4. Documenting all work done at a site (videos, photos, etc.)

5. Communicating with the office and clients

Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualified as a plumber (plumbing trade certificate)
Valid driver’s license (normal code B)
Must reside in the area as he will be required to work standby every second week (Durbanville, Brackenfell, Bellville, Kraaifontein, Kuilsriver etc.)
Must have a safe location to park the work vehicle while on standby
Must be fluent in English and be presentable
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Must be able to work independently when necessary
Experience with solar geysers and heat pumps will be beneficial)
Package & Remuneration
Basic salary (depending on experience): R13000-R17500 per month (with overtime)

Normal working hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 / Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
