Introduction
Dear Prospective Candidates,

We are currently seeking applicants to fill two vacancies within our IT Support Team: one for a Tier 2 IT Support Technician and another for a Tier 3 IT Support Technician. Requirements for the positions include”

1. Minimum of three years of relevant experiance in IT support.

2. Possession of a valid driverws license and access to a personal vehicle.

3. Absence of prior convictions on record.

4. Submission of authentic and unaltered ceretificates.

5. Residency within Gauteng, specifically within a 40-kilometer radius of either Midrand or Sandton

Duties & Responsibilities
Tier 2: Desktop support, Application reloads, remote support, Laptop and desktop setups and scheduled maintenance including server room checks, air con checks, drive checks and battery checks

Tier3: You arent required to be able to all of the below but will need to be able to learn from the team,

Senrior Server and Infrastructure role

• Server Up Time: ensure server is highly available.
• Ensuring system performance is optimal by monitoring metrics.
• Ensure the right measures are in place to monitor which alerts are received via
syslog & siem (security information & event managements).
• Implement new systems and applications.
• Manage, maintain and recovery of Active Directory (AD).
• Ensure business continuity through implementing backups and replication
schedule systems (Disaster Recovery).
• Manage firewall and profiles for internet access.
• Ensure all infrastructure and security systems are up-to-date.
• Manage technical aspect of helpdesk with regards to daily backups and
replication.
• Test backups at Disaster Recovery (DR) site and conduct quarterly DR tests.

Cyber Security role
• Source security software applications and successfully implement within the
business.
• Research and provide recommendations to Management regarding which
external security providers and online security systems to use.
• Source and manage external security providers.
• Develop and execute security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data
and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.
• Investigate cyber-attacks, recommend and implement solutions by blocking
the original source without blocking legitimate traffic.
• Contribute to cyber security and server projects.
• Develop and maintain the security roadmap

Package & Remuneration
Tier 2 – R15000-R25000 per month

Tier 3 – R25000-R40000 per month
