Introduction
Purpose of the Job:
The primary responsibility of the Regional Manager is to implement an effective operations model within the Hygiene, Landscaping and Pest Control divisions. The Regional Manager will report to the
Regional Director and serve as a member of the Senior Management Team.
Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enforce the Company’s Disciplinary ‘Code of Conduct’
Ensure Operational excellence in service delivery
Adopt an initiative geared towards Integrated Operational Excellence
Ensure customer satisfaction across the region
Improve the Integrated operational systems, process and policies in support of the Organization’s mission,
specifically, support better management reporting, information flow, Client relations and organizational planning
Ensure Client retention
Assist with business growth
Drive cost saving initiative
Responsible as functional leader for developing operations management, and service talent within Excellerate
Services
Interact with the Senior Management to ensure the appropriate infrastructure requirements are specified and
functioning in accordance with the Company policies and procedures
Interact with the K.A.M.’s on all reconciliation and items impacted by Operations. I.e.: Contract Adjustments/
New Quotations and Payment Conditions.
Be the central escalation point for operations service issues in the Region
Operate within the budget and utilize tools provided
Support the Operational teams in gaining new clients including key meetings with prospective or new clientele
Lead initiatives to design or improve processes and performance
Drive best practice across the region
Lead operational meetings as required
Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures, policy terms and conditions and current relevant
legislation and regulations in accordance with Landscaping, Pest Control and Hygiene Industry.
Communicate effectively at all levels of the business
Debtors
Fleet Management
Managing productivity of KAM, CO’S and all team members
Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric Certified
Solid Computer Proficiency
NQF 7 Tertiary Qualification
Short Courses related to Hygiene and Pest Control will be advantageous
Proven Track Record in Operations Management, in the Hygiene & Pest Control Division
Driver’s License Code 08 and own reliable vehicle
Solid Risk Assessment and Site Survey experience
5 years of direct Management experience in the Pest Control/Hygiene Industry
5 years of Senior Management experience with strong integrated knowledge of the Business
Knowledge of the Pest Control/Hygiene Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
SHEQ knowledge will be advantageous
